Why a large window

Large panes are where a robot saves you real time. You place it, it works its way across the glass, and you do something else in the meantime. On a few small panes within easy reach, a squeegee is still quick.

How to choose

Start from the surface and the access. For very large panes or shop windows, look at the models designed for them. If you also clean the outside, compare the safety rope and the backup battery on each product page. Automatic spraying saves you from wetting the pads by hand.

What to know

The robot does the bulk of the work, not the finishing: plan a quick wipe with a microfibre cloth in the corners and where it stops. Wash in the shade when you can. To clean the outside, always tie the safety rope to a fixed point inside. On frameless glass, stay next to the robot and keep the rope in your hand.

Frequently asked questions

From what size of glass is a robot worth it?
The larger or harder to reach the glass, the more time it saves. For a few panes within reach, a squeegee is just as quick. Also check the minimum glass size on the product page.
Do I need to stay next to the robot?
Not every second, but stay close during the cycle, especially outside. Tie the safety rope to a fixed point before placing the robot outside.
Does it work on frameless glass?
It is designed for framed glass. On frameless glass, stay next to the robot and keep the rope in your hand.
What if my large window is in full sun?
Sun dries the liquid too fast and can leave marks. Wash in the shade or during cooler hours, with clean pads, then wipe the stopping point with a microfibre cloth.
