What the warranty does not cover

Damage caused by misuse (for example a fall when the safety rope was not attached) and normal wear of the microfibre pads.

Why OLA

  • Your big windows, without losing the afternoon.

Place it, press the button: it zigzags from top to bottom. Allow 3 to 4 minutes per square metre.

  • The top of the glass, no stepladder.

Upstairs, above a patio door, on the outside: it goes where you'd rather not.

  • It holds on, even if the power cuts.

5,600 Pa of suction, a backup battery of about 20 minutes and a safety rope rated to 50 kg.

  • A fine mist, not a jet.

Ultrasonic spray dampens the glass just ahead of the pads, so the microfibre glides instead of rubbing dry.

True to size

30 cm tall. Barely taller than a sheet of A4.

14.5 cm wide and 7 cm thick: it fits in your hand.

Navigation

It plans its own path.

It finds the edges of the glass, then works across it row by row, from top to bottom.

Safety

Designed not to fall.

What keeps it on the glass, even high up.

OLA Pro sur la face extérieure d'une fenêtre d'étage, ses deux pads vus depuis la pièce, retenu par sa corde de sécurité
  • 20-min backup battery

  • Safety rope

  • Edge detection

Getting started

Three steps, and it takes care of the rest.

  1. Dampen the pads.

A little water, a few drops of glass cleaner if you like. Damp, not soaking.

  2. Clip the rope, place it.

Plug it in, tie the safety rope to a fixed point and place it on the glass: it holds on by itself.

  3. Press start. That's it.

It finds its way from top to bottom and stops when it's done. A wipe of microfibre in the corners, and you're done.

Choose my robot

Estimate for both sides of each pane. Robot: 4 min per m² and 1.5 min to set it up per side. By hand: about 6 min per m² per side, plus 4 min of preparation per window. Actual time depends on how dirty the glass is and how easy it is to reach. Money saved: time spent by hand multiplied by the hourly rate shown, which you can change; suggested rate: average price of a cleaner in your country, before any tax credit.

Frequently asked questions

Will my windows be streak-free?
Yes. Its ultrasonic spray lays down a very fine, even mist of water, which the microfibre pads wipe up straight away. For a flawless result, clean in the shade, with demineralised water and a few drops of glass cleaner. On very dirty glass, a second pass with clean pads makes everything shine.
What about the corners?
It runs along every edge of the glass; its round pads stop just short of the corner, where a quick wipe with a cloth is enough. Want crisp corners without a second thought? Choose the : its square shape reaches much further into the corners.
What happens if the power goes off?
The backup battery keeps the suction going for about 20 minutes, so the robot stays on the glass long enough for you to take it down. The safety rope, tied inside, is the last line of defence.
Can I clean the outside of my windows?
Yes. Always tie the safety rope to a fixed point inside before placing it outside, and stay nearby during the cycle.
Does it work on frameless glass?
It is designed for framed windows, whose edges it finds on its own. On frameless glass (shower screen, glass balustrade), simply stay beside it, rope in hand.
Can it clean a conservatory?
Yes, all of its vertical glass. A glass roof, which is horizontal, isn't what it's made for.
How long does a large window take?
Allow 3 to 4 minutes per square metre: a 2 m × 2 m window takes about 12 to 16 minutes, while you do something else.
What goes in the tank?
Water, ideally demineralised, with a few drops of glass cleaner. The 50 ml tank covers several windows.
Can the pads be washed?
Yes, the microfibre pads can be washed by hand or in the machine at 40 °C, without fabric softener. Keep a clean pair for very dirty glass.
Is it noisy?
About 65 dB, the level of a normal conversation: start it and get on with something else, you'll soon forget it's there.
When will it arrive?
It ships from a warehouse in Germany. The estimated date is shown under the buy button, and you get the tracking number by email as soon as it ships.
What if it isn't right for me, or breaks down?
You have 30 days to return it to us free of charge, and a 2-year warranty. Our customer service replies by email within 2 working days, with an exchange or a refund.
